Lytham Town Trust is proud to announce our contribution of £63,475 towards the restoration and transformation of the Gardener’s Cottage at Lytham Hall, which has now reopened as a high-quality self-catering holiday let.
The project, delivered by Heritage Trust North West, represents a significant milestone in bringing historic buildings within the Lytham Hall estate back into sustainable and meaningful use. The newly restored Gardener’s Cottage offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the heritage of the Hall while enjoying modern, comfortable accommodation.
Set within the grounds of Lytham Hall, the one-bedroom cottage combines historic character with contemporary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living space, and access to the surrounding gardens.

"We are delighted to support Heritage Trust North West with a donation of £63,475, which has helped to transform the Gardener's Cottage at Lytham Hall into a unique self-catering experience for visitors. This project not only opens up an exciting new way for people to enjoy the beauty and heritage of Lytham Hall, but it also creates an important new income stream for HTNW. We are particularly pleased that a proportion of the profits generated will go directly back into the repair, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the Hall, ensuring its preservation for generations to come."

The restoration of The Gardener’s Cottage forms part of a wider strategy to secure the long-term future of Lytham Hall by identifying sustainable uses for its historic buildings. Income generated from both The Gardener’s Cottage and The Gate House holiday lets on the grounds directly support the continued conservation, maintenance, and improvement of the Hall and its estate.
Lytham Town Trust is pleased to have worked alongside Heritage Trust North West and The Friends of Lytham Hall to support the delivery of this successful project, ensuring that Lytham Hall remains a vibrant and accessible heritage asset for residents and visitors alike.
